Ride the elevator to the Statue's Pedestal Outdoor Observation Level where you can walk around all four sides of the Statue's pedestal. This vantage point offers excellent views of New York Harbor and the Manhattan Skyline, as well as fascinating views of the Statue directly above. You may have to wait in line for approximately 2 hours to ride the elevator. Be advised, if you take the elevator to the top of the pedestal, you CANNOT continue up to the Statue's crown. Due to the nature of the Statue's design, there is no access to the pedestal for the physically challenged. Please note that the Satue, Museum and Pedestal are closed indefinitely. Klein detail dus.
